Olga Kurylenko was born and raised in the small town of Berdyansk, in southern Ukraine, and dreamed of getting away from there to live a more exciting and glamorous life. When she was 15, she went to Moscow for a week's vacation at the suggestion of her mother, and it was there that she was "discovered" by a scout from a modeling agency.
