Goodness!! These entries are awesome, I envy you guys. It was hard to decide, but it came down to eilsoe's and soul's. I ended up voting for Soul's because I liked the colors he used and the amount of detail put in. Eilsoe's piece is detailed as well, but the colors weren't too appealing. Great job everyone. =)

I see the problem with the 1+3 since that would be combining. The 2+3 usually gets accepted. However you just never know how things will go with USCIS.

+3 sounds to be your diploma right? now what was eligiblity for the diploma 10th or 12th? I am assuming it was 10? since it was 3 years course.
My friend I hate to be sounding pessimistic but your education might add upto 16 years but it is not progressive 16 years as required for a bachelors program, most of it is redundant. your +2 (12th grade) and diploma are overlapping. Your +1 is completely tangential to your course work. It is same as some one doing 1st year courses for 3 different strems example 1st year Science , 1st year arts and 1st year commerce and then claiming he has equivalent of 3 years bachelors course work completed and so he be awarded a bachelors degree.
Please dont feel bad. I do not want to give you any false hopes. Please consult some proffessional evaluators to check if there is a way they can make your education sound progressive but looking at USCIS response you pasted they have evaluated your diploma and cannot accept it as equivalent to degree program
I dont know who will pay for the MTR + refiling in case your employer is going to shoulder these expenses then there is really no harm in trying but if it is you who has to pay for appeals then my friend it will be better if you consult education evaluators and some other lawyers like Murthy, Khanna to get a second opinion before you embark on this long and costly journey.

From what I gathered, you were just being a messenger and if you look at my post, I have never referred to you in anything. All my answers were directed to hadron. At the same time its a little frustrating to us when people repeatedly keep on questioning our goals/legitimacy. Being a messenger, you bore the brunt from some of us :(

Why can't garbage be thrown in Walmart shopping plastic bags?
It doesn't make sense to harm environment even more by buying new things.In fact, there are new trash cans available whose upper mouth is designed to fit in shopping bags itself.
Regards photos-Let's say you save $20 by saving on photo. You can put this extra $20 in bank @rate of 5%. or you can spend it on extra dinner/movie.
Both options will still rejuvenate economy.
If you send saved $20 to India-Indian govt will be happy to reduce its oil import bill by $20, your family will use this $20 to buy a new Motorola cell phone/Nike shoes or eat dinner at MacDonalds.

At least he is better than my lawyer who did not allow me to file in EB2 and also discouraged my company from applying for a second labor. Now i have PD apr or may 2002 and I wait for my turn to come. To each his own, I have read his posts on the forum and the advice seems good.

a lot of these lawyers post "spicy messages." Its marketing in the 21st Century. He did not say that its grounds for a lawsuit, a reader of his forum asked him the question and he said he didnt know and the july bulletin would clarify things.
A majority of the attorneys dont do anything for the EB community. the few that do attend rallies or do the ask questions type of conference call arent really serving the community. They are doing the same thing that Gotcher is doing. I am not defending him by any means. i myself had issues with some of his posts that I feel were directed at getting more traffic to his website, but this thread was about his impression about the july bulletin. With the lack of interest at predicting VBs, this is at least something to discuss.

Looking at the .PDFs and the law on spillover, I agree with MPADAPAs analysis. Still hope that there would be spillovers from unused EB visa...sure it will be less compared to last year....but atleast feel/hope it would be enought to get through 2006....atleast for EB2 guys....

That was a very illogical reply to the per-country limit question. How come a large number of people from certain countries automatically eliminate people from smaller countries from getting green cards? That's an extremely dumb way of looking at it.

go check the tri state poll, see if it's crossed 50 responses out of 3,500 + members. to have a poll and make it meaningful you need willing participants. that means many people need to spend a whole 30 secs not thinking about receipts. everyone worries about them- i'm talking here about the significant number that obsess about them. do note that the July 2 thread dies after work hours. so most people who refresh all day do it only at work.

Yes she can go alone. She will need her H4 approval notice as well as your H1B approval notice. Additionally since you have applied for AOS take them for good measure. My husband recently went for H4 stamping in London and they did not actually require the adjustment receipt notice but did take anyway with his documents.

This thread seems to express my thoughts.
I used to wait till my dates got current. With my dates being current since November, I still wait with no sign of improvement.
I tried calling the 1-800 number. But, did not get any useful information.
Took an Infopass appointment couple of weeks back. But, it was of no use.
The officer at the local office read the same status that I see online.
She said that my case was transfered to Texas center. (I knew this since October 2007). Only additional information she gave me was that my namecheck got clreared. (Though this is important, I dont think this really matters to get my case processed).
I told her that I have been waiting since years and some of friends who filed later than me already got their GCs, she felt sorry for me but she said there is nothing she can do for me. Not even a Service Request since my dates are within the processing times.
Its getting difficult for me......Also, in this economy its getting tough everyday to hold on to the job. Who knows may be this year quota might be over too. It will definitely be a big relief if we get the GC.
I thought there is nothing I can do now till my dates goes outside the processing times. Please advice.

Try Senator/congressman + Ombudsman inquiry now. If you do not get a response or nothing happens, contact me. Let us see what we can do for people who are current since a long time.
