Does someone have an experience of application process, so that i send in the right papers, before leaving here. i mean the set of documents to send to DOL, so that i do not miss out on something important which could nail him to the maximum

the limit. I know Wipro paying 1500$ per month to people on L1
in Stamford , CT .
Stamford CT is an expensive place with 2 bedroom rent like 1800$.
When indian companies do all this what/how do you expect people
to react.
Now the local population has become hostile to H1B and anything
related to skilled immigration.
It wasnt like that before...say 10 years back.

I am EB3-India, yet I dont support the removal of per country limits, as there is a reason for the diversity rule, Indians and Chinese are currently on the wrong side of the equation so it seems "fair" to remove the quota.

@snathan oh no he never got me any interviews , he was basking away in the sun with his wife on the hammock with him, these were all my efforts of trying to find a job somewhere by posting on job sites, calling up companies, using my friend's reference, but i realize that even doing that companies here follow a longer process or some no process to actually keep the candiate informed about the status. This was way different in my home country.
anyways yeah i know atleast 5 guys who have all been thru this company who have all flown in on their own and who did not blow the whistle.

Why dont you call VFS and find out what's happening and if they can help you to resolve this?
I might have more information than VFS. The VFS agents don't know what's happening in the consulate. The agents doesn't know more than what is already present in the VFS website.

Myself, I was able to file I-485 and renewed EAD 3 times, which means my wife is working from past three years, I have changed job using AC-21 twice and my salary is increased and have better job, which means I am not too much worried about getting GC, but I still contribute to IV and call lawmakers many times.
The FEAR I see among many people is really pathatic, I know couple of friends does not even want to talk to me on phone about this matter thinking that some one might be listening,

May be US corporations can tactically support this bill because this bill will impact Indian bodyshoppers severly. For past 5 years US companies could not compete with Indian companies as they have more leverage on H1b. Now if Indian companies avoid H1b US companies can get any time they want as they can satisfy most of conditions

From the article it seems Tancredo gives wrong information about H1b. Generally CNN is not responsible for any other person is giving wrong information in the interviews unless CNN accepts the information. Daily they are interviewing many people including Politicians and there is lot of chance for wrong information. Many persons gave wrong information about Iraq in CNN but CNN could not be responsible for that. If Lou Dobbs gives/accepts wrong information then we can complain about him in CNN. So if action needs to be taken we need to protest Tancredo for his comments.

We do have a right to request prompt, fair service.
We do have a right to expect to be treated by the system as we treat the system: with respect.
If we do not actively seek to change the system for the better, then who will?
There is no injustice that some justify with "well, he's illegal!" or "He's not American!" It is not acceptable. Not just because it is unfair to us, but because there are no bounds to it.
If early Americans just accepted how the British treated them, there would be no United States. Not arguing for revolution, but I am saying that any efficiency that exists today exists because of the demand for it. Regardless of citizenship.

No. It's not a typo. I had met Aman in a conference in December. He was talking about selling his house to contribute to IV (I really hope he didn't have to). But he has contributed a small fortune to this effort.

If you have a choice to have a EB3 2001 PD/EB2 2003 PD substitute labor from a consulting company, what will you do?
Will you not want to contact them and file your greencard through them?
So stop this bullshit about criticizing consulting companies. There are real human beings working in this those companies. Just because you do not work in consulting companies does not give you any right to post negative about them.
